I live at the Holyrood Estate in Thalawakele and was educated at Sumana Secondary School, Nuwara Eliya. Although I had a basic idea of photography, it was only after joining this program that I gained a broader understanding. I also learned how to take the kind of photo that communicates a message to the community through photography. Photography is a language that anyone can understand. I hope to engage in professional photography and do the best I can for the community in which I live.
