I live in the second division of Ettampitiya, I had the opportunity to join this photography program while I was developing my skills in drawing, singing and writing poetry as a hobby. I am studying A / L in the Arts stream at Vivekananda Tamil Maha Vidyalaya, Bandarawela. Despite my talents, I was stuck within the four walls of my house. The opportunity to get involved with this program enabled me to share my talents with others. The strength and confidence I gained from this programme enabled me to take these photographs and to express my views without fear. It is through photography that words uttered about the splendour of nature have been transformed into storytelling in a different way today. I intend to pursue the journey related to photography while continuing my studies.
